Nanna
Vedel-Hertz
MA in Journalism, Media and Globalisation
Multimedia Journalist
In December 2020, together with the Greens / EFA, I arranged an exhibition of and about the people from the Moria camp in Greece at Kgs. Nytorv in Copenhagen. Nanna Vedel-Hertz’ images gave the audience a moving look into the tragedy of these fellow human beings and contributed to the exhibition’s narrative that despite their escape from war and terror, refugees share exactly the same dreams of a dignified life as the rest of us.
I can only give my warmest recommendation of Nanna Vedel-Hertz.

In Nanna you will find a talented, inspiring and curious writer with the ability to turn low-interest information into vigorous storytelling

Head of Communication KAB
Nanna helped raise over DKK 200,000 for boots, food and toys for the children on Lesbos. The fundraising was without a doubt Nanna’s merit through her communicative abilities on social media. Nanna is productive, committed and extremely professional in everything she does. Nanna is a very pleasant person who is easy to work with and who can create everything out of nothing.
If it were not for Nanna, Act for Life would not exist today.
I give Nanna my warmest recommendations.
Mette Nielsen,
Founder of the NGO Act for Life
I believe that Nanna has the potential to become one of the journalist of the future
